Fashion Splash 2025 Designers
Life on the West Coast inspires a unique fashion sense, and our fashion designers reflect this lifestyle in every stitch of clothing they create.
Living in harmony with our environment is important to us, and this value is evident in the local trends and designs that are born here. Fashion Splash began in 2014, at the Ship Point Pier in the Inner Harbour of Victoria, an outdoor runway right beside the water.
Initially, there were only a handful of local designers, models and businesses involved, but our event has since grown to become Victoria's Premiere Fashion Event.
Fashion Splash is a community fashion event that continues to grow and celebrate our amazing talent here on Vancouver Island. We believe that we are on the verge of making a name for ourselves on the world stage, featuring some of the most unique and original designs BC has to offer. This show is all about providing designers with a platform and amplifying our incredible fashion industry professionals.
Thank you for your continued support!

Designers 2025
Bat-Fish Studio Bat-Fish Studio is the love child of Tracy Yerrell & was created in response to the global situation of fast fashion & textile waste.
For Tracy, sustainable design has become a way of life, and she loves creating & recreating reclaimed clothing, textiles & materials. She is constantly striving to come up with new & innovative ideas that use unusual textiles & materials in an original & inventive way. She also tries to use no new materials in the making of her products, but rather follow a new way of thinking, turning waste into something beautiful and useful for everyday life. By tapping into more unconventional design aesthetics and embracing the idea that waste can really be a resource, it inspires people to get in touch with their own creativity and how they can make a difference with up-cycling & re-purposing. The possibilities are only as limited as our imaginations. From whimsical to elegant this is reclaimed, reimagined, recycled remade denim fashion. |

Veiled MayVeiled May represents the macabre yet frilly creative vision of Maya Chapman. Immersed in the world of performance arts from an early age, Maya has grown up to have an affinity for flamenco and theatrical costuming. A recent graduate of Victoria's own Pacific Design Academy, this is her first year as an independent designer in Fashion Splash.
This season's collection, "The Last Picnic", is inspired by folk horror films of the 60's and a dreamy summer's day spent lazing in a field of flowers. Maya's garment construction techniques include embroidery, needle felting, and beading to bring her premonitions to life. As a majority of Veiled May's pieces are vintage inspired, a large portion of the materials used in their construction are second hand. This also reduces textile waste and makes each garment even more unique. |
