Event DetailsSaturday 30th 10:30 am - 5 pm Sunday Dec 1st 10:30 am - 4 pm We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest market in the Vic West neighbourhood. This shopping experience promises to be great for everyone as it features many new artists. There will be local distilleries, live music, food vendors, crafts, artists,. The admission fee is $5.00 for weekend for the weekend, and partial proceeds going to the Victoria Chek TV Toy Drive. We can't wait to see you there! |
TOY DRIVECHEK’s 30th Annual Drive-Thru & Telethon will be held at 3 locations this year – CHEK Studios located at 780 Kings Rd. in Victoria, Westshore Parks and Recreation, front parking lot at 1767 Old Island Highway, and Steve Marshall Ford at 3851 Shenton Rd. in Nanaimo. CHEK will broadcast live from 5 – 7pm on December 1st from all 3 locations, and we invite everyone to stop by with a new, unwrapped toy, non-perishable food item, or monetary donation.
Last year they raised $92,456 and collected over 2500 brand new toys for Island families in need. This year, we hope to do even better. For the month of November we will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys at several small businesses around Victoria. We are so thankful to Nomad for adding two loactions market for being one of these drop-off locations from November 10th – 12th. 1100 Admirals Rd and November 25th and 26th at 195 Bay street ( Da Vinci Centre). |
