Soberfest donations

As many of you have seen, producing music festivals has become increasingly difficult. The recent closure of Rifflandia is a reminder of just how challenging the festival landscape has become. For most festivals, alcohol sales are the single largest source of revenue. SoberFest has made the intentional decision to remain completely alcohol- and drug-free, creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone—but that also means we must find creative ways to generate the revenue needed to keep the festival sustainable.

What began with just 400 attendees in 2022 has grown to more than 3,500 people last year, making SoberFest one of Vancouver Island's premier family-friendly festivals. Thanks to our incredible community, we've now helped raise over $3 million in treatment, and this year alone, 16 treatment spaces valued at more than $430,000 have already been donated.
We work hard to ensure SoberFest remains accessible to everyone. Tickets are just $50, children attend free, and every child leaves with a free T-shirt and sunglasses that they design themselves. With a massive Kids Zone, more than 150 local vendors, and five major musical acts, we're creating an unforgettable experience while proving that fun, connection, and celebration don't require alcohol or drugs.

To keep SoberFest viable, we've had to think outside the box. This year we're hosting the SoberSlam Pickleball Tournament, selling commemorative candles to honour those we've lost and those still fighting addiction, and holding a community raffle to help raise essential funds.
